The Inaugural Colloquium
The Library regrets its belated post in regards to this monumental event. This colloquium was an perfect inception to what we hope will become an important series of scholarly talks. Our speaker, Samuel DeschĂȘnes Halpert, captivated the audience by delving into the very nature of story-telling and the dynamic, simultaneous relationship between the reader, the text, and the author in his analysis of the Canterbury Tales in the context of Beothian thought. Refreshments included a delicious quiche, pastries, and a vast assortment of tea. We warmly welcome future colloquium speakers.

You describe a truly remarkable evening, one that I'm deeply sorry to have missed. I'm looking forward to the video so that I, too, can partake of the intellectual stimuli, although it will be without the quiche.
